The Incentive

Investors in registered Venture Capital Companies (VCCs) are offered an incentive equal to the highest marginal tax rate for individuals and companies which at present is twenty- five percent (25%). An investor who is an individual must be a resident of Trinidad and Tobago at the time of purchasing shares in the VCC, whereas an investor, which is a company, must be incorporated under the Companies Act, 1995.
